Nathan was born in Waldron, Saskatchewan to Samuel and Clara. Canadian researchers are hoping to find further information on his life soon.
Nathan was the wireless operator on board Hudson FH246 which had departed from Gander, Newfoundland bound for the UK. The aircraft was lost in transit between Newfoundland and Prestwick, Scotland.
The three crew are commemorated on Runnymede Memorial.
